Legal disputes over domain names have occupied courts around the world for more than two decades. In addition to state courts, out-of-court dispute resolution procedures have been established for both generic and country-specific top-level domains. WIPO’s Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) has proven particularly effective in combating domain piracy.
We are familiar with German legal practice as well as out-of-court dispute resolution and represent you knowledgeably in such proceedings. Our partner Andrea Jaeger-Lenz has helped shape this area of law from the very beginning. She is an experienced arbitrator at WIPO and has been involved in numerous proceedings in this role, as well as representing parties.
