Dr. Anna-Carina Salger joined HARTE-BAVENDAMM Rechtsanwälte in 2020. She advises clients in particular on trademark and competition law. Her focus lies in strategic advice and litigation, but also in relation to extrajudicial enforcement of intellectual property rights and claims for unfair competition as well as in the effective protection against such claims.
Furthermore, she advises clients regarding their trademark portfolios, including proceedings before the German PTO as well as the EUIPO.
Anna-Carina Salger studied law at the Albert-Ludwigs-University in Freiburg im Breisgau with a focus on intellectual property.
After the first state examination she obtained a Master’s degree (LL.M.) at the University of Virginia, USA, followed by a doctorate at the Institute for Foreign and International Private Law under Prof. Dr. Hanno Merkt, Freiburg, on the regulation of dark trading under US and European law.
She then received her legal traineeship at the Hanseatic Higher District Court of Hamburg with stations, amongst others, in the Senate for Intellectual Property and in the department for telecommunications and media law of a major German law firm.
